Me and the dentist
My relationship with the dentist is a love-hate relationship. A part of me love the dentist because he/she cured my teeth. While on the other hand, I hate the dentist because when I see a dentist that means something's wrong with my teeth. And I hate it so much when something's wrong with my teeth because that means I have to spend a lot of money because dentists are super expensive!! Gahh.
I don't know how many times have I visited a dentist and they told me that I need special treatment because my teeth's condition are so bad that I have to come several times (meaning more money spent). I think I've been to 3 special treatments with 6 visits each to fix my teeth problem because it has gotten into my nerves.
I still remember the first times I went to the dentist, I couldn't open my mouth too long because it was tiring. But after several times going to the dentist, I'm getting used to it that even when the doctor's taking "a short break" from my teeth, I still open my mouth until my lips becoming so dry.
Because of my history with teeth, I was so so so happy when I knew my office's insurance covers dental services. So just this afternoon after I received the insurance card, I used it straight away, hahaha. And I plan to use all of the available budget. Hahaha!
I went to the dentist because I have two problems that needed to be fixed: one holey teeth and one broken teeth. One on the left and one on the right. But the doctor said that the left one is fine because it has been taken care of temporarily and it's still in a good condition, so we only need to fix the right one.
And you know what, it turned out that the right one not only has a broken teeth but also another holey teeth! Holy mother of teeth! My teeth are so weak! Jeez!
So, the doctor fixed the holey teeth first while the broken teeth need (another) special treatment. The doctor said actually it takes more time (and more cost) to fix my broken teeth but because of the allocated insurance cover, he said let's just wait one week and if everything's okay, he'll made me a new tooth next week. Hopefully everything's fine so that next week I can get my tooth re-built.

Finally, what I wanna say is: please take care of your teeth. What the dangdut song said about "broken heart is better than toothache" is completely true. Toothache cost you a lot of money while broken heart only cost you tears. Brush two times a day and do a regular check up once every six months.
P.S.: Do you know how much did I pay (not me actually, but the insurance) for one tooth patch? 1 million rupiah. Crazy, isn't it? But thanks to the insurance, I only need to pay 155 thousands rupiah, haha! Hmm.. I think I need to sign to this insurance too to get a dental cover.
